This is Sandra Dalziel or you know me as Sandra Bettencourt of Poetic Indulgence: Where Poetry Meets Real Life. I decided to sit down and jot down a few notes to everyone there because they are well deserved and I think more people should know about my experience with you and how they can feel comfortable in working with you as well. Firstly, the support about the quality of my work was tremendous. From day one, I felt I was being treated as if I was already a published author and my words were not just mere letters on a piece of paper. I was encouraged to write and NOT encouraged or pressured into signing contracts. However, I'm glad I did, because what transpired was amazing. We all have bumpy rides on the road to our accomplishments and yes I admit most of them were my jitters taking over and at times I was getting angry. But I was doing that without reason. My book was properly put together, edited, proofed and released earlier than expected. I can not even explain how pleased I was when I opened my box of the preorders. By the way, everyone should buy the 100. Definitely saves on shipping later on. The process can be lengthy so saving up is a good possibility for it. But the real magic happened when I received my proof from the printers. I was so elated that I called my husband and was already crying before I could open it. It was perfect. Your team made my dream a reality. But not just that. My dream was a reality properly done. It was never a sales pitch, it was never forced, it was never ignored, it was simply professionally done and beautiful. What happened next was and is still unbelievable. I understand that coaching comes with a particular amount of preorder purchases, but I never once expected the attention I am receiving. If I don't sell one single book it is not the fault of the coaching team. Every single day I receive at least one email with regards to marketing my own book either in a very cost effective way or even for free. It's unbelievable. The service never stopped. Yes, my book is printed and out for sale, but you as my team haven't stopped the working. You're there in the background - pushing and helping me achieve success. As a newly published author I know that royalty information is always delayed but I do know that there has been many purchases in just the first two weeks of publishing. I attribute that to Strategic Books and Eloquent Books. I never once imagined that the service of quality that you provide would continue on the way it has. I encourage everyone to do what is necessary to get the coaching team, because without them its hard to find the ways to sell, and they truly are the experts at it. I thought I knew how. Boy, was I wrong. The team is amazing. You have gone beyond my expectations as well of those in which I've spoken to. The joint venture was extremely well done for the service I receive. I hope that many people realize your company doesn't push out a book and an author out the door. I hope they realize they publish your book, then hold your hand all the while. I can trust your company, and so should others. You produce what you offer, at a very reasonable term and actually in my opinion go even further than the amount paid for. Once I started seeing the "wonderful" in your team I commenced the second book and can gratefully say that its 3/4 done. I will be signing up with YOU again upon completion. As a first time author I want to thank Strategic Book Publishing for walking me through the book publishing process. I chose SBP because of its professional response to my manuscript submission. From the beginning the SBP people treated me with respect, courtesy, and with a genuine interest in my book. At each level of the progression they were quick to respond thereby keeping the book on or ahead of the publication schedule. Now that the book has been released, Strategic Book Publishing is focusing its efforts in bringing "Stories of the Street: Images of the Human Condition" to the market place through a well orchestrated marketing agenda. I recommend them to both first time and seasoned authors. SBP is a joy to work with! You may be interested to know that I am having a feature article done by my local newspaper on the publishing of the 4 books in less than a year and the Print on Demand concept. No doubt it will cast some light on the good value that SBG provided to me as an author. I've noticed some detractors on the net sites but believe me, the service you have provided for the money is exceptional- I don't know how you can do it for the money. I'd strongly advise any author, published or not, to seek the services of Eloquent Books. My experience with them has been wonderful. They truly do seek, develop, and encourage new talent. Unlike many full service publishers, these folks follow through. A special shout out to Lynn and Nancie. Securing a relationship with SBP has been the BEST decision I have made as an author! Having had 3 books published prior to SBP, I had an understanding of the process but often felt as though I was flying solo. SBP has been one step ahead of me from inception to completion. Their processes, the support I have received and the professional manner in which they have handled everything-contracts, editing, formatting, cover design, printing, marketing-has been beyond satisfactory. Each individual I have interacted with has gone above and beyond 'just answering my questions' by demonstrating genuine interest in helping and supporting me along this path, and I am completely grateful. In fact, I'm planning on having them publish my next book and have already recommended them to numerous colleagues. I feel I have a 'team' supporting me in this effort and that customer service is indeed a priority. It takes teamwork to produce such a professionally produced item and I would like to thank you all for your help! I am writing this the day after my novel 'Watershed' was published in the USA and the UK.
