About the Author

Author Mary Eileen Karl is inspired by good people and good books. She wrote A Buddy in Winter: Lost and Found to exemplify the multiplying joys of kind acts, which make humans truly human. She is a past teacher and caregiver, and a happy mother and grandmother. Karl grew up in Brookline, PA, and now resides in Pleasant Hills.
