What happens in our childhood has life-long consequences, for good or for bad. We can let horrible experiences take over our lives, or we can fight back to lead the kind of life we want to lead.

This haunting true story is based on the life of author Maloney Hunter-Lowe, who grew up in Jamaica, and moved to the United States when she was 16. She struggled most of her life to overcome the hurts of her childhood, writing A Caribbean Twist so her story “can have some impact on young girls and maybe to show that you can turn the bad situations into good ones.”

Hunter-Lowe is now at a point in her life where she feels successful, having overcome her past hurts and abuse.

This book is print-on-demand – the books are printed when they are ordered. Please allow for both PRINTING and SHIPPING time when ordering. In the continental US and Canada please allow approximately 2 weeks for your order to arrive – Alaska and Hawaii may take an additional week. Orders for the UK and Europe please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your order to arrive. All other international orders may take up to 10 weeks for delivery. Note it is possible for the order to arrive earlier or later than the time frames given depending on the order destination.
