Meet the Author



Robert Russell Allen grew up in Pittsfield, Mass., and joined the Army at age 17. He now resides in Queensbury, New York, where he attends AA meetings each day, spends time with his wife and family, and manages a Facebook page of 5,000 friends in recovery. Alcohol ruled Allen’s life before recovery became his focus. Without help, he knows it would have killed him.
