Born into a Pakistani family, author Durraiz Alvi has lived around the world. Originally from Texas, he now lives on Long Island, New York, and plans to attend medical school. He has always been intrigued with the mysteries of space and has imagined a world far away from planet Earth. Alvi hopes to write a series of books about Alastoria and bases his characters on people he knows.
