Ogie! What an adorable name. When you hear it, it's hard to imagine that for Ogie the sea monster, the "o" stands for ostracized; the "g" for green and gloomy; the "i" for isolated and ignored; and the "e" for extra excluded. 

Ogie is definitely big and green. But who is acting mean? Well…all of the other sea creatures. Why? Because Ogie looks different from every one else. Ogie is lonely and friendless through no fault of his own. He is gentle, fun, and good-humored. But when you are big and your skin is green, others judge you hastily and poorly.
