With so many changes and new horizons ahead,
Emily discovers more than ever her need for God’s help. As a
result of trusting God, she receives the blessings of sharing
the Gospel in a new land with her missionary husband.
Emily on the Golden Shore
is a novel based on the life story of the American author, Emily
Chubbock, who wrote under the pseudonym Fannie Forester.
Emily had
a full life as a writer and teacher, supporting herself as well
as her parents and sister. Soon, Emily discovers that God is
calling her to do even more – and with His help, she rises to
the challenge!
Emily
begins an amazing transition from life in the Eastern United
States to spreading the Gospel with her missionary husband,
Adoniram Judson, in the beautiful and remote areas of Burma
during the 1840s. Emily on
the Golden Shore is a story of courage, change and
triumph.
