L.G. Bullard explains the complex Big Bang theory in terms that anyone can
understand. Instead of the common idea that the Big Bang was a
random clash of particles,
God’s Big Bang
claims that this momentous event happened for a reason.
The book first presents a
short history of science starting with the Greek scientists of
the sixth century B.C.E. and moving forward through the
twentieth century A.D, explaining the theories in simple terms.
This brief background is essential to understanding the
complexities of the Big Bang theory.
The author then explores the
current theories using Laplace’s probability theory to show that
the chances of random generation for the universe without
intelligent design are infinitesimally small. Also, the author
speculates that the first second of time might be much longer
than the usual second due to time dilation.
Through the latest research, God’s Big Bang seeks
to convince readers that the universe has a creator and a
purpose.
