life story for my children, Douglas and Denise. When I reached
the stage of my assignment to Vietnam, so many unbidden memories

Vietnam, where he worked as a civilian engineer. His vivid book

story of hope and how this man chose to find a meaningful

About the Author
Richard Ingelido was a
civilian engineer working for Garrett AiResearch, contracted to
support the OV-10 aircraft with the First Marine Air Wing during
the Vietnam War. This is his story.
Now 70 and retired from
Honeywell, he began writing his memoir 10 years ago.
Originally from
Scottdale,
Pennsylvania, he currently lives in Brisbane, Australia.
