Meet the Author



The role of family, celebrations, and cooking techniques kindled the beginnings of author Marina Kamilatos’ passion for cooking. Each recipe is taken from her father’s island of Kefalonia and her mother’s Macedonian heritage, and then adapted to her own unique style of cooking. Marina is the chef owner of Lourdas Greek Taverna in Bryn Mawr, a restaurant in the Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia.

The owner of award-winning restaurant Lourdas has written Lourdas: A Greek Family Cookbook to share her family’s recipes with yours.

This book is print-on-demand – the books are printed when they are ordered. Please allow for both PRINTING and SHIPPING time when ordering. In the continental US and Canada please allow approximately 2 weeks for your order to arrive – Alaska and Hawaii may take an additional week. Orders for the UK and Europe please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your order to arrive. All other international orders may take up to 10 weeks for delivery. Note it is possible for the order to arrive earlier or later than the time frames given depending on the order destination.
