The term midlife is an often
misunderstood one that many apply to those who are in their 50s
and have emptied their nest, so to speak. However, midlife is
the time when all we’ve learned in our developing years from our
families is put to the test, and often comes up short.
At a time when most of us
expect to be happily settled and enjoying our middle years,
instead we find ourselves suddenly divorced and asking, “Now
what?” We’ve been alienated from ourselves, as well as the
dating scene, for far too long and find that life alone, after
being surrounded with spouse and kids, can be disorienting and
at times frightening.
Midlife Metamorphosis
offers an eye-opening look at the process of moving forward with
your heart and not just your romantic life. The sage advice
comes from a man who began to dig deep for answers after
suffering through two failed marriages. Based on a 10-year
introspective journey, the book covers in easily understood
steps the many aspects of the midlife heart experience.
