Because Miffy is a very
beautiful cat with special attributes (such as her good looks
and cleverness), she receives and demands many privileges in the
family, including sleeping in bed and on the furniture.
The family dog, on the other
hand, is not so small and cuddly, and does not get to sleep on
the bed or enjoy the same privileges, which makes her very
jealous.
The lesson to be learned in
Miffy, The Crooked-Eyed Cat is that everyone is different and we
all have a different lot in life. It is futile to envy someone
else. It is much more sensible to be happy with who you are.
