Meet the Author

          

PR Roberts was born and educated in South Africa, where she wrote children’s stories and nursery rhymes for magazines. With the demands of a large family, writing was put aside for many years. After being widowed, she took up residence in Australia and resumed writing. Other titles include Bury the Ghost and Mystery Celebration.

A large family’s trials and tribulations – as well as its love – weave together a rich saga of the Humbley family of Australia.

Told over a 28-year span, Adam Humbley, the oldest of six sons, fondly reminisces about his large family. Adam usually occupies a special place in the family room, which he named My Eavesdrop Station. There he pretended to read, but instead listened to all the gossip. After his aunt and uncle die, Adam’s four girl cousins came to live with them.

How this family of ten children manages to form a lasting bond that holds it together over the years shows how love can transform your life.

In the continental US and Canada please allow approximately 2 weeks for your order to arrive – Alaska and Hawaii may take an additional week. Orders for the UK and Europe please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your order to arrive. All other international orders may take up to 10 weeks for delivery. Note it is possible for the order to arrive earlier or later than the time frames given depending on the order destination.
