Meet the Author



Author Joan Zurell has enjoyed writing since her childhood in Connecticut. She has spent her business life working with the written word, first as a how-to writer for computer users and then as a typesetter for a small publishing company. Now she enjoys her retirement in South Salem, New York where she spends much of her time writing and working in her garden. Her love of both mysteries and horses inspired her to combine them into Once Upon a Horse; a sequel is currently underway.
