Teach your children and
students phonemes through a hands-on activity book that makes
learning exciting.
Phonic Stories Book 1
contains 31 stories, each focusing on a particular phoneme, with
different characters and settings to help your students learn.
Each short story focuses on
particular words that contain the same phoneme (sound.) Once the
story has been read, students can then use the words to
illustrate a scene from the story on the blank template
provided. Four templates in all, they can be stapled together to
make a booklet.
During the course of a year,
students actually design their own library of phonemes and
stories that will make learning fun. Teachers can also make a
class library set and students can refer to the short stories to
consolidate the use of the phoneme in certain words during
silent reading time.
Phonic Stories Book 1
will:
-
Assist students with
their reading through a phonemic approach.
-
Assist students with
comprehension.
-
Heighten students’
understanding and knowledge that words are made up a number
of phonemes.
-
To consolidate a
particular phoneme through story.
-
And much more!
