Rose C. Taylor was born in Dunedin, New Zealand, and since the age of eighteen has lived in Melbourne, Australia. She is a retired bookkeeper and is an active member of the Australian Liberal Party. She is also the author of the website Are we the Aliens.

Poor Poppy and the Chocolate Man tells the story of Peter Gray, a man who endeared himself to the children in his neighborhood by handing out chocolate bars from his door. The children called him “The Chocolate Man” but Peter called himself “Poor Poppy,” referring to the fact that he was never married and never had a family of his own. The heinous acts that Peter would soon perform on two of those neighborhood children over the course of three years plunge his life and the lives of those close to him into a deeply disturbed darkness.

Poor Poppy takes the reader into the life and mind of one of the most heinous type of criminals – the pedophile. This story, based on true events, will serve as an eye opener into the destructive capabilities of a truly devious mind.
