Mitchell's camera compositions teach us to liberate ourselves
from the conventional rules of artistic expression.
"The more you
love music, the more music you love," said Abram Chasins,
pianist and composer. His sentiment is brought to light vividly
and artistically in Victoria Mitchell's new book, Rock Stars
of the '80s and '90s! A Collector's Book of Memorabilia.
Mitchell's art is not about what she wants to see but,
rather, about what she wants you to see . . . about a
significant and miraculous time in the evolution of music.
Mitchell's book depicts some of the most famous bands and
musicians from the '80s and '90s. Having always been a music
lover, Mitchell found it almost effortless to capture camera
essences of musicians such as Jon Butcher and Stevie Ray
Vaughan. Climb on Victoria Mitchell's memorabilia bandwagon and
enjoy the dazzling and nostalgic ride.
