Thomas Swift wants to share his puppy’s antics with children. Writing this book helped him recover from open heart surgery. The writing has a rhythm to it almost like a poem, and the illustrations are soft and simple so you can focus on Ted. Thomas hopes to continue the same style in all the Ted Tumble books, as he has many more adventures lined up for him.

Thomas is a thirty-year-old artist and illustrator who moved to Western Australia from England to live with his Australian wife, Diana. Thomas and Diana never suspected that waiting for them in Australia was the loveliest and most cuddly Basset Hound puppy you have ever seen!

Ted Tumble has very long ears, great big paws, and lots of lovely, floppy skin. When you put these things all together, they make for one very special pup. With his long ears and short legs, Ted Tumble never grumbles when he stumbles and tumbles. He just thinks it’s lovely to be so cuddly.
