This story
was inspired by the author’s experience with children who live
in shelters, with or without parents. She wishes to make
children aware of these kinds of situations and to be kind and
helpful to those in need.
About the Author
Rhonda Boone Evans is a
special needs preschool paraprofessional who is working on her
Education degree. She plans to continue the Johnny Lumpkin
series as well as other children’s and adult books. Rhonda
currently resides in Marietta, Georgia.
