Meet the Author

Kathryn Stenlake was a para-educator who worked with special education needs children. She made up tales to keep her students interested in their lessons. Today she creates bedtime stories for her grandson. Stenlake is working on several new children’s books. The author grew up in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. She has three grown sons and lives with her husband in Exmouth, Devon.

 

The Color Purple – And Red!

This delightful children’s adventure will truly color your child’s world with fun, as two eccentric grandparents, along with their dog and cat, share their wacky lives.

Grandpa Bamps is very tall and has short spiky blue hair. He wears a big red coat and red-striped sweaters. You can tell that he just loves the color red!

Grandma Nanu is very short and has curly purple hair. She likes to wear her purple coat with her purple-spotted sweaters. She loves the color purple!

Bamps and Nanu have a dog with long and curly golden fur named Ellie. Because she is a girl dog, Ellie wears a pink collar and a pink leash. They also have a little grey cat named Misty, who reminds you of a grey and misty day.

Each story represents a day in the life of these FUNky characters. The Adventures of Bamps and Nanu offers two books in one and will make learning colors fun!
