About the Author:

Michael Brackett has been writing for over 35 years. He is the author of several technical books and numerous technical articles on data management. In 2008 he wrote Notes From The Back Of The Clipboard: Anecdotes From Real Life (eloquentbooks.com) describing a variety of anecdotes about experiences in his life and the lessons he learned from those experiences. The Adventures of Bunny and Hare is his first children’s book.

Mr. Brackett enjoys hiking in the back country, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, rollerblading, and western dancing. He retired three times and is still active in a variety of community activities. He still thrives on the challenges that are just around the next corner. He lives in the log home that he built in the Olympic Mountains near Lilliwaup, Washington.

In this delightful new children’s book by author Michael Brackett, a beautiful and intelligent little girl rabbit named Bunny, and a rugged but compassionate boy hare named Hare, go hiking together after being introduced by a mutual friend. From that point on, their exciting adventures begin, in the mountains, on the prairie, and at the ocean. The stories in The Adventures of Bunny and Hare describe their different experiences and the joy of sharing those experiences.

Bunny and Hare make many animal friends during their journeys. They help other animals with their problems, and other animals help Bunny and Hare. Together, they face problems that arise and resolve them by working together. Each story has a message about the good and bad things in life, and evolves through ever more challenging situations to a surprise ending.
