About the Author

Author Ruth Ann Spigiel just couldn’t resist telling the tale of the real Charlie Dog, who entered her daughter's life as a three-month-old puppy. Although the central character in The Big Thing About Charlie Dog is small, his story is immense, and it is just begging to be shared. Ruth Ann Spigiel works as a registered nurse in a community hospital. She was raised in Lincoln Park, Michigan, and now lives in Tecumseh.
