A
Wonderful Adventure Where Learning History is Fun.
Follow a little boy as
he embarks on an intriguing journey to learn all about the
history of Britain despite his lack of enthusiasm for the past.
Paul Baker is just a
typical boy growing up in a city of giant redwood trees in the
distant future, where homes are carved from the trees and are
connected through walkways and roadways in the dense British
forest. He is a thoughtful child with an adventurous and curious
nature, but his curiosity just doesn’t seem to extend to the
subject of history.
When he gets a failing
grade in his History class, Paul’s parents seek to kindle some
enthusiasm with a holiday in London, in hopes that introducing
him to his cultural roots will help him connect better to the
past. It is in London where he first meets the Countess of
Kensington, who rouses his curiosity when she presents him with
a riddle. Through his experiences in London, Paul learns that it
is necessary to know the past before we can contribute anything
worthwhile to the future.
