Meet the Author

Vladislav Bevc, Ph.D. is a professional engineer, physicist and writer who lives in the San Francisco Bay area and Lake Tahoe; he is currently working on The Energy Primer for Everyone, which shows how people can readily evaluate energy issues by themselves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In The Energy Primer for Kids: With a Primer for Grown-Ups, youth and their parents are invited to take an independent approach to evaluating a wealth of information and make informed energy policy decisions as citizens and voters.

We constantly hear the media and politicians talk about “solutions” to energy resources, climate and saving our environment. Proposed solutions that are advocated such as renewable fuels, solar and wind power, biologically produced combustibles, ethanol and hydrogen may well be found lacking economic potential.

In this unique book, the author arms children and grown-ups alike with simple, rational, and science-based facts that point the way for them to make their own decisions and form independent opinions about the controversial issues of energy reserves, and its generation and consumption, now and in the future. Readers will learn that they need not fear that their enjoyment of the Earth’s resources and a good life will damage the environment and may remain confident that human progress will continue to make the Earth a safe and secure place to live.

This book is print-on-demand – the books are printed when they are ordered. Please allow for both PRINTING and SHIPPING time when ordering. In the continental US and Canada please allow approximately 2 weeks for your order to arrive – Alaska and Hawaii may take an additional week. Orders for the UK and Europe please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your order to arrive. All other international orders may take up to 10 weeks for delivery. Note it is possible for the order to arrive earlier or later than the time frames given depending on the order destination.
