Every son wants to be just
like his dad, even a moose! In The Mad Moose, a young
moose idolizes his father and can’t wait to grow up and be just
like him.
There’s only one problem: The
two don’t have a close relationship because the father doesn’t
know how to relate to his son. The younger moose is full of
energy and curiosity and will try anything that seems fun,
including mimicking other animals.
But how can you make your
father have fun when he is respected for being the biggest
animal in the forest? For this young moose, it’s a daunting
challenge.
As the two travel together
and meet other animals in the forest, the little moose tries to
mimic them, showing his father that they too can have fun, just
like a scampering squirrel or a rabbit. The son finally learns
that he can have fun simply by being himself, and his father
learns that even though he’s big and strong, he can still play
and share good times with his son.
