Reflections on a Changed Man
In
this suspenseful novel torn from today’s headlines, Ira Ellingsworth is
seeking his path in life. But he becomes a pawn in the neo-conservative
movement under the tutelage of his boss, Fred Rollins, a born-again
evangelical Christian and arch conservative.
Coming from a Jewish-Christian background, and due to his boss’
influence, Ira joins the Christian Zionist movement, which he later
finds to be hypocritical. Working as an assistant district attorney, Ira
has the power to affect political change in America, including
prosecuting provisions of the Patriot Act and the Homegrown Terrorism
Act.
Through the Dark Looking Glass will make readers take a hard look in
the mirror, too. When Ira “sees the light,” he realizes he wants to
follow a different destiny.
What do you do when you realize everything you believe is a sham?
After his change of heart, Ira begins his battle against the
neo-conservatives. He becomes a lawyer for the ACLU, where he ends up
challenging everything for which Fred Rollins stands. And in the
process, Ira Ellingsworth becomes an unlikely hero in the fight to forge
a new direction for America.
