Meet the Author

Dr. Patrick Ofili was born and raised in Nigeria where he attended university, and went on to England to earn his medical postgraduate degrees and become a surgeon. An astute reader of African affairs, Dr. Ofili used his own experiences in creating this fictional account of a political coup and the madness that ensues afterward. He currently lives and works in Asaba, the capital city of Delta State, Nigeria.

In the fictional West African country of Masoli, an obscure minority tribal member named Ghani Abaku rises up to challenge the incumbent president in a fair election. Just as Ghani is poised to declare victory, a violent military coup forces Ghani into exile. He joins other political refugees to foment a rebellion aimed at taking their country back. Outside political forces also threaten to blow the country’s hard-fought democracy right out of the water. This exciting espionage novel ponders just what kind of future Tomorrow Will Be.
