Joseph of Arimathea was a disciple unlike any other. He was no mere follower of Jesus – he was also kin.

Uncle to Mary, mother of Jesus, Joseph of Arimathea had a relationship to Jesus unlike any other.  

Upon hearing the news that his niece, Mary, was struggling to raise her son after the death of her husband, Joseph abandons his life as a prosperous and powerful merchant to travel home and help her. Stepping in as a surrogate father, Joseph intends to raise the boy to follow in his footsteps as a trade merchant. 

But soon, Joseph realizes that his young nephew is not like the others. As he watches the boy grow into a man, he realizes Jesus is not only a man, he is also God Himself.

Author M.E. Rosson has been a pastor, a missionary, a church planter, and an evangelist, and has served in the United States Air Force. He has written for over 20 years, and his works include poetry, literature, and books, as well as a weekly article for the Rutherford County Reader.
