Juliann Troi lives in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she is president/artisan of Golden Seed Arts and Media, Ltd. Her home-based business allows her to express her creativity through art in all forms, while writing gives wings to her dreams. In Where There is No Comfort, author Juliann Troi shares the amazing story of her visit to Angacha, a small village adjacent to the capital of Ethiopia. The initial reason for Troi’s visit was to write an article about the nonprofit organization International Crisis Aid. However, once there, the author was overwhelmed by how the village residents triumph over adversity every day.

Juliann Troi’s compelling firsthand observations about the poverty, illness, hunger, sex slavery, and other hardships she witnessed will move readers and expand their view of the world. Troi hopes that the week she spent in Angacha will inspire readers to journey outside of their comfort zones and make a difference.
