Meet the Author



Maureen Hinton has enjoyed telling stories to family and friends for many years. She was inspired to write them down by the faith her audiences had in her ability. Hinton grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and now lives in Ruston, Louisiana. She is a stay-at-home mom who is dedicated to taking care of her family. Multi-talented writer and illustrator Maureen Hinton has produced this very charming children’s tale that comes straight from the frog’s tongue to your ears!

William is a young frog who lives on Blue Lily Pond. But he has a big problem: He has trouble catching bugs and must practice to use his tongue properly! He meets Rita, a lonely dragonfly, and they become the best of friends. Will William’s tongue be fast enough to save Rita from a spider? The power of friendship can indeed overcome anything!

This book is print-on-demand – the books are printed when they are ordered. Please allow for both PRINTING and SHIPPING time when ordering. In the continental US and Canada please allow approximately 2 weeks for your order to arrive – Alaska and Hawaii may take an additional week. Orders for the UK and Europe please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your order to arrive. All other international orders may take up to 10 weeks for delivery. Note it is possible for the order to arrive earlier or later than the time frames given depending on the order destination.
